We offer mobile wound and foot care services throughout Metro Detroit and the surrounding regions. If you're outside this area, please contact us—sometimes we can accommodate requests beyond our standard service zone.

  • Skin integrity and breakdown prevention

 

4. Are your services covered by insurance?
Yes, we accept many major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Our team can assist you in verifying your coverage prior to your first appointment.

5. Do you provide treatment at nursing homes or private residences?
Absolutely. We serve patients in:

  • Assisted living facilities

6. How do I schedule an appointment?
You can call us directly at 248-547-9400, submit a request through our website, or ask your healthcare provider to send a referral on your behalf.

 

7. Is a referral from my doctor required?
Generally, no. Referrals are not mandatory, and we are happy to coordinate with your healthcare provider to ensure seamless care.

 

8. What should I expect during my first visit?
Your initial visit includes a comprehensive evaluation of your wound and/or foot condition. We review your medical history, take photos to monitor progress, and develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.

 

9. How frequently will you need to visit?
Visit frequency varies based on your specific condition. Some patients may require weekly visits, while others may need care every 6-12 days. We customize our schedule to support optimal healing.

 

10. Will you bring all necessary supplies?
Yes. Our team arrives fully equipped with sterile dressings, wound care materials, tools, and everything required to deliver high-quality care right at your location.

 

11. Can you treat both legs or feet if needed?
Yes. If medically appropriate, we can treat both limbs simultaneously, provided the wounds are located below the knee.

 

12. What makes mobile wound care different from traditional settings?
We bring expert wound and foot care directly to your doorstep, reducing the stress and inconvenience of transportation, wait times, and clinic visits. This model is especially beneficial for individuals with mobility issues or complex medical conditions.

 

13. Do you coordinate with my primary care doctor or specialists?
Absolutely. We collaborate closely with your healthcare team—be they primary care physicians, endocrinologists, podiatrists, or home health nurses—to ensure continuous, coordinated care.

14. Is this service only for elderly patients?
Not at all. We provide care for individuals of all ages who have wounds or foot conditions below the knee, including those with diabetes, vascular disease, trauma, or recovering from surgery.
